  • The Three Levels Of Non-Issue

Brian Kaminsky at Huff and I came up with the “The Three Levels Of Non-Issue” a few days ago.

EDGE CASE. You know it almost never happens but you’ve seen it. You grit your teeth and fix it.

UNFOUNDED WORRY. A circumstance so unlikely that your head says it’s possible, but this time, your heart says you have better things to do. Can turn into an EDGE CASE so avoid stumbling upon that circumstance. Unfounded Worriers will join you in avoidance so it’s cool.

LEOPARD ATTACK. When someone is asking about a circumstance that is completely batshit like “What if a leopard attacks me while I am entering my credit card number?” Unfortunately, unlike Unfounded Worriers, these people have an uncanny knack for invoking EDGE CASES.
